On the 10-Spot Ride you’ll enjoy a casual pedal around historic Newport, the “City by the Sea”, to ten unique locations where you’ll enjoy live local music and sample tasty delicacies from Newport’s best chefs and restaurants all in beautiful private spaces ranging from secret gardens to majestic mansions and seaside splendor.

Here’s how it works
- Sign up solo or with your friends – lots of people ride the 10-Spot Ride together in groups large and small, or make your new friends along the way!
- The 10 Spots stay secret until event day – Past locations have included historic mansions, private gardens, downtown inns, waterfront properties, arboreta, and even a tall ship!
- You’ll get your Starting Spot the day before – Check in to receive your guidebook, commemorative cup, reusable utensils, and QR-coded route map. Enjoy your first taste and live music while planning your route.
- Check in starts at 10:30 to give you time with the Event Guide and Map. You can check in at your assigned Starting Spot any time from 10:30 on.
- Music and food service begin at 11:00
- Visit the first 9 Spots from 11am to 3pm. Visit as many of the Spots as you wish in whatever order you choose. There’s plenty of time to spend 15-20 minutes at each Spot, enjoying signature tastes and nonalcoholic sips from local restaurants, live music, and amazing locations thanks to our generous hosts. You’ll pedal on city roads, so be prepared to share the road with cars and other people on bikes.
- “The 10th Spot ” will be open from 1:30 to 4:30. This year we’re excited to bring all participants together at a grand location for a finale of food, music and fun! The 10th Spot will be magnificent and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Amazing Musical Guest
Iconic artist Danny “Kootch” Kortchmar joins indie rockers Leaving Irene. The West Coast rock pioneer added a bluesy edge to recordings with James Taylor, Carole King, and Jackson Browne, and co-wrote hits like “Dirty Laundry” and “Somebody’s Baby.”

All participants will gather for a gorgeous grand finale! We can’t tell you where but we can tell you it’s stunning!!! End the day with the friends you came with and the new ones you made along the way.
Ticket Prices
$200 – Standard Ticket – includes 5 hours • 10 locations • 10 restaurants • 20 bands – all by bicycle!
$350 – Patron Ticket — Everything in Standard, plus enhanced support for Bike Newport’s programs. $150 of your ticket is a tax-deductible gift funding bicycle safety education and community programs.
$500 – Friend Ticket — Everything in Patron, plus recognition at all 10 Spots and a seat in the Stageside Table Section at The 10th Spot. $300 of your ticket is a tax-deductible gift to Bike Newport’s programs.
$1,000 – Best Friend Ticket — Everything in Friend, plus a dedicated social media shoutout. $800 of your ticket is a tax-deductible gift — the single biggest way to fuel Bike Newport’s work year-round.
